Laboratory History

In 2017 & 2018
Global electronic component distributor Outstanding Performance Award
Five major technical support distributors
Reference Designs
The laboratory actively engages in multiple collaborations, such as partnering with prestigious academic institutions, conducting joint research and development with large high-tech enterprises, collaborating with suppliers on reference design development, and continuously expanding involvement in technology research projects.
School-enterprise cooperation
In 2015, mother company started a series of joint research with SCUT on the application of third-generation semiconductor SiC & GaN.
In 2017, the postgraduate training base of SCUT was jointly established in Allied Group lab as an internship base for its fresh graduates.
During this period, many frontier products and solutions were jointly R&D, such as 20kW SiC PV inverter, 400A ultra-high frequency SiC underwater robot welder, 200kW full-SiC ultra-high frequency and power density EV motor drive, 500kHz high-power induction heating machine, etc. The products and technologies have been fully verified and used in many large domestic enterprises.

Jointly R&D with customers & suppliers
The company has been actively advancing research and development collaborations with powerful large enterprises. In 2019, we partnered with a major enterprise to jointly develop a 50KW high-power motor driver based on SiC devices.
We also provided a customized 5KW high-power capacitor load power supply solution for a specific client. The solution achieved rapid charging of a 10mF capacitor to 700V within 1 second and supported online high-frequency supplementary charging, reaching an internationally leading level and filling a domestic gap, thereby helping the client solidify their leading position in the domestic market.
Furthermore, we designed a customized 3KW bidirectional mobile energy storage solution for another client. This solution combined the advantages of various product lines, using a single MCU to control the bidirectional operation of the converter, resulting in industry-leading performance and providing the client with highly competitive design options.
In addition to customized solutions for clients, we also provided reference designs for suppliers. For a listed supplier, we developed a bidirectional 6.6KW on-board charger (OBC) using their new products exclusively. This project helped the supplier validate the performance and reliability of their new products in OBC applications, shorten their product development cycle, and improve product reliability.
